Playing fairly

• Play through the game as published. Modified clients, injected scripts, automation and bots are not allowed.
• Do not exploit a bug for advantage. Report it instead — see the contact page.
• Do not flood, overload or attack the game server, the website or another player's connection.
• Skins and accessories are appearance only. You can earn Gold by playing or buy it, and spend it on looks. Nothing bought or unlocked changes how the game plays.

Your name

A display name is 3 to 20 characters, using letters, numbers, spaces, hyphens and underscores. Everyone in the arena can see it, so keep it fit for a game that anyone may be playing. Do not impersonate another player, the game or its operator, and do not use a name to harass, abuse or advertise. Some names are reserved for the game itself and will be refused. We may refuse a name or end a connection that breaks these rules.

Your guest profile

There is no required sign-up. Online play keeps a guest profile on our server with your statistics, Gold and items. This browser holds the code that resumes it. Clearing site data or changing browsers or devices can lose access to an unlinked profile. If optional Google sign-in is offered and you link it, that provides another way to recover the same profile. Your browser also keeps your best score, name and settings. The leaderboard inside a run is live and lasts as long as that room.

Gold and purchases

Gold is a game currency for looks. You earn it in Online runs; real Gold purchases are currently disabled. If purchases are offered in a future release, checkout must identify the seller, price and applicable purchase and refund terms. Immediate delivery alone does not remove a statutory right of withdrawal: any applicable exception requires the necessary express consent, acknowledgement and confirmation. Your statutory rights for faulty content are not affected. A verified refund or chargeback removes the Gold it granted. Gold and items have no cash value and cannot be transferred or sold.

Availability and warranty

The game is free to play and provided as it is, with no warranty of any kind and no promise of availability. The server may be restarted, updated or unavailable, and a run in progress can be lost. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from using the game; your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

Other people's work

Giga Snake is built on open-source software and licensed artwork, credited in the open-source notices. If you believe something published here infringes your rights, write to support@gigasnake.com with the page, what you own and how to verify it, and we will act on it.

Reporting a player or a problem

Abuse, offensive names, cheating and bugs all go to support@gigasnake.com. Include the time, the name you saw and what happened. The game keeps no replay; we may need more details to investigate.
